In my book ‘Start a New Art World’ I make a number of my ideas visible. I wanted all of my material, which comes from outside, to become one with the book and so form its own world. In word and image. It is physical, you can use all of your senses as one whole. The book moves through space as you read it.

As an artist I make sculptures that explore unknown terrains and introduce unknown forms. I am extremely positive about the real power of art to transform persons and situations. Without theories, just by what you see. With this book I wish to come out in public consciously. And stimulate. Because it is essential to find new forms and presentations that spur us on to maximise our consciousness of our world, and experience the power within us.

Think of a MIR space station, circling the world, where countless sun panels and cranes stick out with no heavy constructions for support. Space is weightless. A snake is a beautiful creature; wound around your arm it feels as soft as rubber; flexibly it can curl around anything and then you feel the steely power with which it can stretch out into space.

START A NEW ART WORLD is my world. A challenge to make a new art world exist, without a closed-off idea. Open and inviting for everyone, always.

I like fast-flowing rivers. Lying on a stone in the cold water in the morning. The fiery energy of the punk era is my soul.
What would a new art world look like? We made this book for you personally and not for the world.
